Background: Specific developmental disorder of scholastic skills (SDDSS), generally referred to as specific learning disability (SLD) is a developmental disorder of children.
Aim & Objective: The present study aims to explore the course of specific developmental disorder of scholastic skillsand to assess the application of management plan in enhancing the attention span and academic performance associated with specific developmental disorder of scholastic skills. Research design: Case study. Sample and method: This study was carried out in Hyderabad and 9 years old boy was included.
Tools: Treatment plan was formulated in order to enhance the attention span of the child and scholastic skills wherein different management techniques were utilised to modify the specific developmental disorder of scholastic skills.
Result and Conclusion: On the basis of results, it can be ascertained that attention enhancement, remedial
education training and Gillingham’s approach together can be applied as an effective treatment intervention plan to treat Specific Developmental Disorder of Scholastic Skills.
